Residential Conveyancer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential conveyancer to join our team. The successful applicant must have at least 2 years' experience as a fee-earner in residential conveyancing.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and guidance to clients, by email, telephone or in face-to-face meetings, on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, Land Registry and third-party solicitors.
• Draft documentation supporting the conveyancing transaction, including advice notes, letters and other post-completion and registration documents.

 Person requirements:

• At least two years of residential conveyancing experience is essential.
• New build experience essential.
• Experience in handling a caseload of conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
• Experience of using a case management system together with practical knowledge and use of IT systems, including MS Word and Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, together with an organised and methodical approach to working, with excellent attention to detail.
• A polite, cheerful attitude, particularly when meeting clients.
• A committed and self-motivated individual who can work as part of a professional, friendly team.

Duration: Permanent

Salary: To be agreed upon depending on experience

Location: Hartlepool or Peterlee

Working hours: Full-time or part-time hours available
