Conveyancing Legal Secretary
An opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded and established firm of solicitors. Previous experience in conveyancing work essential. Private client experience would be advantageous.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to fee earners within the conveyancing department.
- Prepare correspondence and documents and keep accurate and up to date records on the firm’s case management system.
- Liaise with clients and provide updates on progress of their conveyancing transactions.
- Audio typing.
- Make and receive telephone calls.
- Filing.
Person requirements:
- Previous conveyancing work experience essential.
- Private client experience advantageous.
- Knowledge and use of IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with digital dictation and audio typing essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- An organised and methodical approach to working with excellent attention to detail.
- A polite, cheerful attitude, particularly when meeting clients and visitors.
- Provide a professional, efficient, customer focused, quality service at all times.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: To be agreed depending on experience
Location: Hartlepool
Working hours: Full time or part time hours available
