What is a Prenuptial Agreement?

A prenuptial agreement provides provides clear guidance for couples in respect of their finances and children in their relationship, and is entered into when considering marriage to provide help if things don’t work out.

The agreement must be entered into willingly, with each party having had advice from their own solicitor. The agreement must be signed at least 21 days before any wedding or civil partnership ceremony.

What’s the cost?

Our fees: £500 + VAT = £600 total. The fee assumes that you have agreed the general nature of what you would like to happen if your relationship ends.

Assets over £1 million

This fixed fee is valid in cases where the assets of the couple concerned are below £1 million. Where there are assets above this, other advisers (for example IFAs and pensions specialists) may be involved negotiations may take longer. If this applies to you we will offer you a personalised quotation.
